SENIOR NIGHT

The Blazers had a WOAC Matchup for Senior night on Friday night with the Newton Indians. Started the night by honoring all the Winter Sports Seniors in attendance including six Boys Basketball Seniors, Ethan Osswald, Nick Brubaker, Brancin Mowen, Lucas Alexander, Josh Osswald, and Daniel Turpin. Thanks to each of you for your contributions to the Boys Basketball Program during your time at NT. The Blazers started a little sluggish against a physical Newton team. The Blazers were down 11 at the half. The Blazers came out in the 3rd quarter ready to play and clawed their way back into the game and at the quarter break were down 6. The 4th Quarter was up and down and the Blazers had a couple big shots roll around the rim and out and Newton hung on to win the game 41-38. Nick Brubaker led the Blazers on Senior Night finishing with 13 points going 3 for 4 from 3, Kellen Laird had 9 points facing physical defense the entire night, Daniel Turpin added 7 points. Tayden Blevins finished with 5 points and Ethan Osswald and Talon Bousman rounded out the scoring with 2 each.
