Tuesday the JV girls traveled to Indiana to take on the Lincoln Eagles in a 2 quarter matchup. The lady blazers quickly jumped out to an 18-2 lead after the first, and held them to 0 baskets in the second. With the final score being 32-2. Tianna Leal led the team with 11 points and 7 steals. Breanna Leal had 8 points and 3 assists. Eva Swartsell had 7 points and 4 steals. Sammy Gardner added in 4 points and Kira Rutan had 2 to finish up the scoring.
Thursday we were on the road again to face Tri-Village in another 2 quarter game. The girls were able to keep the score close, only trailing by 2 at the end of the first quarter. Unfortunately we were only able to make one basket in the second and the patriots got away with an 18-7 win. Tianna Leal had 3 points. Bre Leal and Eva Swartsell each had 2. The girls will be back in action for a full game at Valley View on Tuesday.
