BLAZER BOYS ADVANCE IN 1ST ANNUAL BLAZER HOLIDAY TOURNAMENT

The Blazer Boys Basketball took the floor Friday night in the night cap of the 1st Annual Blazer Holiday Battle at NT. The Blazers had a rematch with the Vikings from New Miami. After a little bit of a slow start the Blazers took an 11-5 lead into the end of the first quarter. At the start of the second, we relied heavily on defense and came alive offensively score 17 points in the quarter to take a 28-11 lead into halftime and never looked back. The final score was 57-25. A true team effort, Kellen Laird led the Blazers with 15 points 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Talon Bousman had a great game defensively and chipped in 10 points, Tayden Blevins finished the game with 9 points, Brancin Mowen had 8 points, Korbin Sullivan 6 points, Jonah Brinkley with 4 points, Nick Brubaker with 3 points, and Daniel Turpin with 2 points, Mason Cordle and Lucas Alexander played great defense and had great energy when in the game. This was a true team effort and the Blazers played stifling team defense all night.
