After a tough week of losing 3 in a row, the Lady Blazers travel to Preble Shawnee and brought home another conference win. Battling injuries and sickness we came into this game down players, but the ladies put up a strong defensive and offensive game to beat the Lady Arrows 38-8.
Our full court press in the first half swung the momentum in our favor only allowing them to score 2 points as the half came to close. We took the pressure off in the second half, as they tried to apply a press. Our girls handled their press with ease and were able to get multiple baskets by spreading the ball around the court. This game was a big moral boost for our ladies, and with two long weeks off we hope to use that as we get into the tougher second half of our season.
