VARSITY BASKETBALL GETS FIRST WOAC WIN
The Varsity Boys Basketball team was able to hold on for the win against WOAC foe Tri-County North. The boys made several good runs throughout the game and was able to stop a couple Panther runs. The house was packed, the student section was loud and in full force in a great atmosphere for the Blazers to pull out the win 55-50. Several great contributions from the entire team saw Daniel Turpin score 16 points grab 7 boards and hand out 2 assists. Kellen Laird had a double double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Tayden Blevins chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Brancin Mowen and Ethan Osswald added 5 points and 2 points respectively and played stellar defense on the Panthers leading scorer holding him to 3 points. Lucas Alexander found a wide-open cut for a bucket and had some timely rebounds.
