7TH GRADE LADY BLAZERS VS ANSONIA

On Thursday evening the 7th grade Lady Blazers took on Ansonia. Right from the start the Tigers ran full court pressure and a strong aggressive zone defense. The girls struggled to set up their offense and suffered many turnovers. The girls played aggressive basketball and held the lady Tigers to only 20 points. It was a tough loss to a hard team losing 20-7. Leading scorers for the Blazers was Violet with 3 points. Alia and Paige both added 2 points each. Paelyne had 6 rebounds. We are looking ahead to Tuesday 12/10 to redeem ourselves against a Franklin Monroe rematch.
