Coming off Thanksgiving break the Lady Blazers traveled to TCN and brought home the win 37-2. All nine players on the team contributed to the final score with Leigha Denlinger having the team high of 9. Offensively the team controlled the tempo the whole game, working with each other to find the easy baskets. Madison Lawson came away with 7 points. Kinley Marker, Harper Henderson and Kenady Thompson added 4 each. Grace Richardson came away with her first points of the season at 3. Ioma Alavez, Audrey Bane and Meah Pearson finished out the scoring with 2 points each. (Meah would have had 4 if it wasn't for her coach's bad timing on calling a timeout :-) )
Defensively the team came away with multiple steals, and rebounds on both ends of the floor, putting together a good game against a young TCN team.
We will be back in action Thursday 12/5 for another conference game against Ansonia, starting a 4 game home streak.
