BOYS BASKETBALL OPENS SEASON WITH TOUGH LOSS TO EATON

Boys Basketball opened their season on Friday night with a tough loss to Eaton. NT started the game and played with good intensity for the first 3 quarters. In the 4th quarter Eaton made a 6-0 run to take a 5 point lead and Trail failed to score the next several possessions and couldn't slow down Eaton's Conner Bach. The final was Eaton 57 NT 37. This game was much closer than the final 20-point deficit. NT played stellar defense for 3 quarters we just have to figure out a way to stay solid and finish games. Tayden Blevins finished the game with 15 point 7 Rebounds and 1 block. Kellen Laird finished with 11 points 9 Rebounds and 3 Assists. Braylon Coffey added 5 points 4 Rebounds and 4 Assists and 3 steals. Daniel Turpin had 4 points 2 rebounds and 1 assist in his first outing as a Blazer. Ethan Osswald chipped in 2 points to round out the scoring. Brancin Mowen and Lucas Alexander added great defense with their length and several rebounds.
