MULTIPLE SEASON BESTS FOR BLAZER XC

Multiple Season Bests for Blazer XC
The blazer cross country teams redeemed themselves after having a rough couple weeks. Many of them running new season best and all time personal best times.
Starting with the high school girls, Kira Rutan ran a new all time best by cutting a minute off of her time. Kira finished in 23rd place with a 23:46. Sydney Whalen was close behind with a 26th place finish and a time of 24:03. Both girls got ribbons for their efforts.
High school boys raced next and were led by Tucker Denlinger. Tucker ran a new personal best to cross the line in 3rd with a 17:10 and earn a medal. Braydan Lee finished the race in 18:53 and finish 30th. Braydan shaved a few seconds off his best time of the season and received a ribbon. Bryce Couvutsakis ran a great race to finish 46th in a 20:44. Merek Mumm shaved over a minute from his time to place 76th in a 23:19!
Junior high girls ran really great races, both having season bests! Ioma Alavez placed 27th and ran a 13:50, her seasons best. Ioma also received a ribbon. Maddison Loranzan ran a 15:30, her best time ever! Maddison placed 65th among the 138 girls in her race.
Junior high boys wrapped up the morning. Preston Barnes ran a 12:27 and placed 44th. Trace Martin ran his first race in a 17:16!
We also had our k-6 there for their last meet. Many of them ran their best times for their season. Thank you for coming out to race!
