VARSITY VOLLEYBALL PICKS UP WIN AT LEGACY CHRISTIAN
A sluggish start didn’t stop the Lady Blazers from picking up a good win at Legacy Christian in Xenia Thursday night. Strong serving brought the Blazers back for solid wins in games 2, 3, and 4 after dropping game 1 in heartbreaking fashion 24-26. At one point, Claire Osswald ran off 8 points in a row to pull ahead for the game 3. Haydn Davies had 14 service points while Kaitlyn Schweizer and Kyleigh Ray added 12 and 11 points respectively. Davies added 29 digs while Jaelynn Remaklus and Kaitlyn Schweizer each added 26. Leaders at the net were middle hitters Kyleigh Ray and Miranda Ott with 9 kills each. Evie Hoffman added 5 while Eva Swartsell netted 3. Kylie Schul set a solid game with 20 assists. The Blazers are back in action quickly, returning home for a Saturday morning 10:00am start versus Franklin.
