VARSITY VOLLEYBALL LOSES A HARD FOUGHT MATCH TO START THE WEEK

The Varsity volleyball team played a hard fought match until the very last point, but dropped Monday night’s match against Preble Shawnee. Kaitlyn Schweizer brought the team back to tie the third set at 24-24 with some outstanding serving, tallying 4 aces on the night. Schweizer and Jaelynn Remaklus both served 8 points behind the line. Remaklus (15), Haydn Davies (15), and Evie Hoffman (11) all recorded double-digit digs. Hoffman and Miranda Ott led the team in kills with 6 apiece. Kylie Schul added 15 assists to the team effort. The Blazers are quickly back in action Tuesday night, hosting Tri-Village.
