BLAZER GOLFER GIRLS FINISH THIRD IN WOAC TOURNAMENT

The Blazer Girls Golf Team finished third in the team standings in the WOAC tournament yesterday at the Richmond Elks CC. Arcanum defended its championship from last year followed closely by Tri-Village. For National Trail, the threesome of Breanna Melling, Jocelyn Osborne, and Logan Baker started off hot as they fired a 42, 44, and 48 respectively on the front nine. On the day, Melling had five pars, her best ever over 18 holes. Osborne scored one birdie and two pars. Logan Baker added two pars. For their efforts, Melling, Osborne, and Baker finished in the top 10 individuals in the conference and were rewarded with making the All Conference Team. It was Osborne's second straight All Conference honor, and the first for Seniors Melling and Baker. Lexi Hake also earned Special Mention All Conference. Next up for the Blazers is a trip back to Stillwater Valley next Wednesday for the Sectional Tournament.
