Congratulations to the 8th grade volleyball team who defeated Ansonia in Thursday nights game 2-0.
The team played extremely well! At the net Zaylynn Vance had 5 kills, Jerzey Hawkins had 4 kills, Kenley Taylor-Hill had 3 kills, while Octavia Dunn, Lila Howard, and Audrey Bane each had one for a total of 15 kills. From the service line Jerzey Hawkins had 6 aces, Kenley Taylor-Hill had 4 aces, while Octavia Dunn and Audrey Bane added 1 each for a total of 12 aces. Special thanks to Kamryn Howard and Lyndi Deaton who assisted in the win. Way to go girls!
