The National Trail boys golf team traveled to Stillwater golf club tonight to play Bradford and came away with a 149-183 win. The win pushes the Blazers record to a perfect 11-0 in WOAC play and clenches the top spot going into the league tournament.
Trail was led by Junior Kellen Laird who fired a 34, followed closely by freshman Josh Brubaker’s 36 and senior Nick Brubaker’s 38. Freshman Wyatt Gebhart rounded out the scoring with a 41, while seniors Aidan Koehl and Justin Turner shot 42 and 43 respectively.
Tonight’s 149 was one shot off the school record, but it gave the team the school record for season long conference average.
The Blazers return to action Monday, when we travel to Arrowhead golf course to take on Ft Loramie in our last duel match of the season.
