The National Trail boys golf team hosted Twin Valley South and Eaton for senior night and came away with a 151-187-194 victory. This marked the final home match for the three seniors on Trail’s team, and they went out in fine fashion. Senior Nick Brubaker led the team with an even par 36. Seniors Justin Turner and Aidan Koehl shot matching 41s for the Blazer effort. Junior Kellen Laird and freshman Josh Brubaker came in with matching 37s, and freshman Wyatt Gebhart finished with a 41.
This win pushes Trail’s record to 10-0 in WOAC play and 11-0 overall in dual matches.
Three JV players were able to play tonight, led by freshman Christian Rutan who shot 38. Junior Sawyer Davies came in with a 49, and junior Jackson Skinner shot 56.
Trail finishes their WOAC regular season Thursday when they travel to Stillwater golf club to take on Bradford.
