The National Trail boys golf team traveled to Winchester Golf Club tonight to take on Mississinawa Valley and came away with a big 149-203 victory. The win pushes the Blazers record to 9-0 in WOAC play.
Trail was led by senior Nick Brubaker, who fired a bogey-free 35. Junior Kellen Laird followed with a 37, freshman Josh Brubaker came in at 38, and seniors Justin Turner and Aidan Koehl shot matching 39s for the Blazers effort. Freshman Christian Rutan came in at 42.
The 149 total is one off the school record of 148. We will be back at the course tomorrow as we host a tri-match with Twin Valley South and Eaton. We will be celebrating the careers of seniors Nick Brubaker, Aidan Koehl, and Justin Turner after the round.
