NT SOCCER FALLS TO PS 4-1

NT Soccer falls to PS 4-1
The Lady Blazer Soccer team had a tough battle tonight playing the Preble Shawnee Arrows who are undefeated in WOAC play. We asked these ladies to play hard for each other and leave it all out on the field and that is exactly what they achieved. They rallied around Freshman goalie Taylor Reynolds, who played a phenomenal game. She came away with 14 saves and only allowed 2 goals in each half, one of them from a free kick.
Sophomore Lillian Cordle played a beautiful cross ball that allowed Senior Megan Irvin to crash the net and pick up our goal for the game. We asked many of the girls to play new positions tonight to try to attack and defend the Arrows at different levels and our girls stepped up to the challenge. Freshman Bre Leal helped control the middle of the field, while other Freshman Maria Sorice, Brooklynn Holsapple, Rae Brodie and Lily Schwieso made value plays throughout the game to either defend the goal or put us into a position to score. Ollie Mason played one of her best games this season back on defense. This team is so much fun to watch and will be back at home Monday 9/9 for a non-conference game against Ponitz at 5:30.
