The National Trail boys golf team hosted Tri-Village tonight at Highland Lake golf course and came away with a 153-179 victory. The win pushes the Blazers record to 7-0 in the WOAC.
The Blazers were led by freshman Josh Brubaker, who fired a 37. Senior Justin Turner followed with a 38, and senior Nick Brubaker and junior Kellen Laird both came in at 39 to round out the scoring. Senior Aidan Koehl shot 46 and junior Sawyer Davies 48 in the non-scoring spots.
The JV team shot a 203 tonight. Freshman Wyatt Gebhart and freshman Christian Rutan came in with matching 48s, sophomore Charlie Cummings followed with 52, and junior Jackson Skinner rounded out scoring with a 55.
The Blazers put their perfect record on the line Thursday as they travel to Liberty Country Club to take on Preble Shawnee and their 5-1 record.
