The blazer cross country team competed in Greenville at the Treaty City Invitational on Saturday.
Greenvilles cross country course had to be changed due to some damage from the tornado this year- which made the course a little more difficult. However, multiple runners still showed improvements in their times!
Tucker Denlinger improved his 5k time to a 17:54.2 to place 22nd and receive a ribbon.
Bryce Couvutsakis crushed his time from last week and ran 21:06.3. His previous best was a 22:36.
Sydney Whalen improved on the season running her 5k in 24:34.6, cutting another 40seconds off of her previous time.
Preston Barnes ran a blazing time of 12:47.6 on the 2 mile JH course, cutting over 1 minute off his time from last week.
Ioma Alavez cut 18 seconds off her 2 mile time to run a 14:00.8 for a new seasons best!
The rest of the team ran hard and put up great times.

The high school, junior high, and elementary cross country will race at the Blackhawk Invitational hosted by Mississinawa Valley at Chenoweth Trails on Saturday, September 7th
