BOYS GOLF TAKE 2ND IN VERSAILLES INVITATIONAL

Boys golf take 2nd in Versailles Invitational
The National Trail boys golf team traveled to Stillwater golf club and took part in the Versailles invitational. The boys started slow, but turned it up later in the round to finish with a 317 team score and a second place finish, four shots behind Minster.
The Blazers were led by freshman Josh Brubaker who came in 2nd overall with a 73. Senior Nick Brubaker followed closely and finished 6th overall with a 76. Senior Justin Turner shot 83 and junior Kellen Laird came in with an 85 to round out the scoring. Senior Aidan Koehl fired a 91 and freshman Wyatt Gebhart shot 92 for the non-scoring spots.
This finished up the tournament portion of the season schedule. The boys won 3 tournaments, finished 2nd in 3 tournaments, and had one fourth place finish.
The Blazers continue WOAC play Tuesday when they host Tri-Village, who is 4-1 in conference play.
