The National Trail 7th Grade Volleyball Team lost to a tough Greenon team 19-25 and 19-25. The Blazers were led by Millie Brinkley, who scored 4 points, Violet Couvutsakis, who scored 3 points (2 aces), Lilly Stiner, who scored 3 points (1 ace), Eli Swartsell, who scored 3 points, and Paelyne Hembree, who scored 1 point, which was an ace. Chloie Unger, Aubree Hampton, and Leiloni Davis each served for 1 point.
The Blazers set the ball up extremely well. Millie, Leiloni, Eli, and Paelyne each had 1 kill. It is exciting to see these young ladies progress. Our next match is Tuesday, September 3, at home against Dixie.
