The National Trail boys golf team traveled back to Beechwood golf course for the second straight day, and for the second straight day came away victorious. This time it was a 159-178 win over Arcanum who was undefeated in WOAC play coming into the match.
The Blazers were led by senior Nick Brubaker who carded an even par 36 to tied for match medalist honors. Junior Kellen Laird followed with a 38, freshman Josh Brubaker came in at 40, and freshman Wyatt Gebhart rounded out the scoring with a 45 to push Trail’s record to 3-0 in WOAC play. Seniors Justin Turner and Aidan Koehl carded a 46 and 47 respectively for the non-scoring spots.
The Blazers will put their 3-0 record on the line Thursday as they host Franklin Monroe at Highland Lake golf course.
