The National Trail boys golf team traveled to Beechwood golf course to take part in the Brookville Invitational and came away with a 13-shot victory.
The field was composed of Bellbrookâs #2 team, Botkins, Ft Loramie, and Dixie - who is a contender for the top of the WOAC conference. This was a strong top of the field, and the Blazers came away getting revenge on Ft Loramie from the other day and holding off Bellbrook to come out on top.
Trail was led again by freshman Josh Brubaker who shot 73 to take 2nd overall individually. Junior Kellen Laird finished tied for 4th with a 76, senior Nick Brubaker finished 7th with an 80, and freshman Wyatt Gebhart shot 86 to score for the varsity team for the first time in his high school career!
Seniors Justin Turner and Aidan Koehl finished just out of the scoring with 88 and 91 respectively.
The Blazers will cap off their busy week of golf by hosting the Blazer Invitational at Highland Lake golf course tomorrow morning at 8:30. Both the varsity and JV teams will compete.
