National Trail Baseball celebrates five fantastic seniors with Friday nights baseball game and they do so in a 4-0 win over Lehman Catholic.
NT gets on the board in the bottom of the 1st inning when Kellen Laird hits an infield single, Cooper Lee has a long at bat drawing a walk, and Ruebush hits a two out single to left scoring Laird.
Both teams go scoreless until the bottom of the 5th inning where Jamison Watts hits a two out single to center, Laird singles to left, and Cooper Smith draws a walk loading the bases. Cooper Lee comes up with the games biggest hit blasting a double into left center field scoring all three runs. This was all the Blazers needed for Andrew Hamm who was dominant on the mound.
Hamm went the distance recording a complete game shutout. Hamm had complete command on the mound only throwing 76 pitches in these seven innings in which 50 of them were for strikes.
