The Blazers came out swinging to start Wednesday’s game. Carley Hamm
led off with a double, Miya Ditmer reached on an error, and Jaleah Coffey lined a
single up the middle to plate their first run. Morgan House followed with an RBI
single as well. From there, the bats cooled off and FM methodically gained control
of the game.
Starting pitcher Breanna Melling had to be relieved by House, when Melling
reinjured her pitching hand. House, coming off pitching 7 innings the night before,
battling in the circle, yielding four earned runs in 5 innings.
House led the team going 3 for 3 at the plate with a double and RBI. Hamm
collected 2 doubles. Coffey and Maycn Patton had the remaining hits.
The Blazers conclude the regular season with a 10:00 double header at
Northridge.
