On Monday April 29th, 2024, the National Trail boys and girls track teams attended the Austin Bruner Memorial Invitational at Tri-Village High School. Both the boy and girls teams were able to come away with a 3rd place finish out of 7 teams.
The boys finished 3rd after a scoring error originally placed them in 4th. They scored 106 team points.
Medalists for the meet were:
3rd - Braydan Lee, 3200 Meter Run
3rd - Jody Wintrow, Tayten Reynolds, Korbin Sullivan, Jonah Brinkley, 4 x 200 Meter Relay
2nd - Josh Welz, Discus
2nd - Tayten Reynolds, 400 Meter Dash
2nd - Tucker Denlinger, 3200 Meter Run
1st - Josh Welz, Brian Toschlog, Logan Reisenback, and Killian O'Connor, Ironman 4 x 100 Relay (all members must compete in field events to qualify)
The girls finished only 5 points out of 2nd in the meet scoring 113 total team points.
