National Trail tool down Tri-Village Thursday night 6-1.
Trail got the scoring started in the third all with two outs. Watts singled, stole second, and was driven in with a double by Ruebush. Cooper smith singled the next AB scoring Ruebush from second. Cooper Lee executed a perfect hit and run scoring Smith from first on a single. The Blazers added a run in the fourth when Vance hit a sacrifce fly scoring Coffey. Trail scored its final two runs in the 5th with a two out single by Laird scoring Smith and Brubaker.
The Blazers got a strong start from Mason Leal. Leal moves to (2-0) on the year. Leal stat line :
6.1 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 4 BB, 8 Ks
Andrew Hamm finished the 7th in relief of Leal.
