NT Baseball Goes 1-1 Over the Weekend
National Trail Baseball loses its first conference game to Bradford on Friday night but travelers to Fairlawn Saturday morning to beat the Jets 3-0.

Bradford Game
Bradford opened up scoring in the first. Trail tied the score at 11 after a double in the bottom of the first by Cooper Smith scoring Jamison Watts. Smith then was called out on a bang-bang play at the plate. Bradford added 2 in the 3rd, 2 in the 6th, 2 in 7th.

Offense
Watts, Smith, and Lee collected the only three hits on the night.

Fairlawn Game Saturday
NT traveled north to take on the Fairlawn Jets winning 3-0. Blazers score first in the top of the 2nd by a squeeze bunt by Braylon Coffey scoring Cooper Smith who doubled. Ruebush and Laird drove in runs in the 5th to make it a 3-0 game. National Trail had 13 stolen bases in the game. Coffey got the win and was dominant in doing so striking out 12 batters.

Blazers are now 2-5 (1-1) and play league games Tuesday Thursday this week at home against Shawnee and South.
