National Trail baseball wins a hard fought game against TCN 12-5.
NT opened up the scoring in the first inning with a passed ball scoring Ruebush from third. NT added to the lead in the third when Coffey hit into a fielders choice scoring one and Kellen Laird hitting a sac fly to go up 3-0. TCN scored 5 in the fourth on two hits and a few errors by NT defense. NT played add on the rest of the game continuing to build its lead. NT baserunners were aggressive all night tallying 9 stolen bases in the game.

Watts picked up the W on the mound going 4 1/3 giving up five runs (1 ER). He scattered 8 hits and struck out 6. Smith pitched 2 1/3 scoreless baseball striking out 2. Nick Clark came in to record the out appearing on the mound for the first time in his varsity career.
