The Blazer MS Wrestling squad delivered a strong performance but came just short of capturing the
WOAC Conference Title Friday night at Preble Shawnee HS. Host Preble Shawnee edged out National
Trail by the narrow margin of 113 to 111 dropping National Trail to a close 2 nd place finish for the WOAC
crown.
Gage Bush, Colt Foster, Remy Longfellow, and Tommy Toschlog all won league championship titles for
their respective weights.
Henry Roberts and Grady Ott followed up with 2 nd place league honors while Bronston Olivera and Nate
Hale came away with 3 rd place finishes in the WOAC Conference Tournament.
This season the Blazer Wrestling team made their name known at each tournament they competed in.
Beginning with the Eaton Invitational: 7 th place, Coldwater Inv.: 8 th place, Triad Inv.: 11 th place, Versailles
and Dixie Dual Tournaments, as well a 2 nd place finish at the WOAC Conference finals. The team won the
Dixie Tri meet and the Home Quad meets. The wrestlers brought home countless placement medals
with Remy Longfellow personally winning 5 individual tournament titles.
The wrestlers posted some remarkable season Win/Loss Records with
Remy Longfellow leading the way with a season best - 23 wins against only 2 losses the entire season!

I could not be prouder of a team than I am of this group of wrestlers who have always conducted
themselves in a manner their school would be proud of. They demonstrated good sportsmanship, hard
work, discipline, and a willingness to learn---something every coach seeks in their athletes.
