BOYS FALL TO FM

Trail came out strong against Franklin Monroe on Friday night, but couldn't sustain their hot shooting, eventually falling to the Jets by a score of 65-53. Tyler Lesh hit two deep 3's in the first quarter and finished with 9 points. Lesh also held the Jets all WOAC player, EB Fall, to only 9 points in the game. It was Lesh's best game of the season and much needed with fellow senior, Logan Smith, battling illness all week. Smith did contribute 7 tough points despite his sickness. Ethan Osswald continued his impressive play of late hitting 2 three pointers and finishing with 8 points. Korbin Sullivan hit another 3 point shot in this game. Tayden Blevins pitched in 9 points and also battled illness all week. Nick Brubaker contributed 4 points and held Jets leading scorer Eric Brenner to only 5 first half points. Kellen Laird led the team with 13 points, scoring 8 in the 2nd half. NT hosts Tri County North on Saturday night. It will be the final home game for seniors Logan Smith and Tyler Lesh.
