8TH GRADE BOYS COME SHORT AT THE BUZZER

8th Grade Boys Come Short at the Buzzer
The boys lost a heartbreaker to the Blackhawks on Thursday night, 29-26. Two contested 3's fell for the other team with under a minute left, the last dropping from deep at the buzzer and the Blazers were left dealing with a disappointing end to a good season.

Mason Cordle had 3 points, Westin Lipps had 8 points, Talon Bousman had 7 points, Carson Laubenstein had 2, Coltin Lipps had 2, and Josh Brubaker had 4. Wyatt Gebhart also played hard in the loss.

The Blazers finished their JH careers as one of the winningest classes in recent history. Last season they were conference runner-ups and brought home a plaque for the school, only the third JH Boys Basketball plaque in the last twenty years at National Trail. This year they finished second in the conference in the regular season, and came just short of being the only JH Boys class to make back-to-back championship games in many, many years.

While the season came to an end one game early, the boys have been such a blessing to my life and have represented their school and community proudly.

Congrats on a great season, and let's keep the journey going in the Blazer (1-2-3) FAMILY for the years ahead.
