The Lady Blazers had difficulty making shots as they wrapped up the regular season at Twin Valley South, losing a tight 30-25 battle on the road. Trail encountered challenges early on with Senior Kendyl Johnson picking up three first half fouls and Junior Josie Stiner going down with an injury. Freshman Lillian Cordle played well in her first Varsity start, connecting on a key bucket in the second quarter and playing stifling defense throughout the game. The Lady Blazers limited their opponents to just eight second half points but could not capitalize on open looks on the offensive end. Junior Hannah Henderson led the Trail scoring with 10 and Sophomore Morgan House had nine, all in the first half. Johnson and Stiner each had two in the loss.

The JV played a spirited game for the first 10 minutes of action, coming back from a deep early deficit to cut the TVS lead to three at 13-16 until the Panthers pulled away in the end.

A new season begins for National Trail as they prepare to face Tri-Village in the first round of the tournament Saturday, February 17 at Versailles. The Varsity-only matchup will tip at 11 AM.
