The Lady Blazers hit their home court determined to secure an early lead and did just that in a lopsided 55-17 victory on Youth Night. Trail's defense returned to its early-season form, holding the Lady Eagles scoreless in the first quarter. Despite a 3:30 scoring drought in the third, eight different Blazer players dented the scoring column in a complete team effort. For the first time this season, four different Blazer players made three-point buckets, including one from freshman Chloe Graves. Junior Josie Stiner led the way with 13 points, Senior Kendyl Johnson added 12, and Junior Hannah Henderson , eight. Sophomores Morgan House had six and Ollie Mason, five. In addition to Graves' three-point basket, fellow Freshman Peyton White had six and Claire Osswald, two. The squad returned to their defensive principles, recording several steals, forcing multiple turnovers, and dominating the defensive glass.

Trail returns to action Thursday for Senior Night at home vs. Newton in their final WOAC matchup of the season. A two-quarter JV game will precede Senior recognition and the Varsity game at 6 PM.
