The 8th grade Lady Blazers played Dixie in their first round a tournament play and unfortunately just could not find their rhythm. The Greyhounds jump out to a fast start outscoring the Blazers 15-0 in the first quarter. Despite holding them to only 7 points in the entire second half, the early lead proved to be too much.
The Lady Blazers never gave up, they continued to play and fight until the final buzzer went off, ending a great season. They ended up tied for the second place in the WOAC with an impressive 8-2 record (10-5 overall). Coaching this team has been such a wonderful experience, they are a great group of young ladies and has shown so much heart and growth, on and off the court! Thank you to everyone who has supported this team, you all helped make it a wonderful season!
