In a game that was never close, Legacy Christian secured a 47-14 win on their home floor against a struggling National Trail Blazer team who has mustered a total of 37 points over the previous two games. The Knights jumped out to an early 18-2 lead after the first quarter and went into halftime up 39-5. Trail has struggled to maintain the defensive intensity they possessed earlier in the season and continues to turn the ball over at an alarming rate, dropping to 6-13 on the season while Legacy Christian pushes their record to 16-2. Trail will finish the regular season next week with three games, looking to show resilience on Youth Night (Tuesday, vs. East Dayton Christian, 6 PM tip), Senior Night (Thursday vs. Newton, 6 PM tip), and a rematch at Twin Valley South (Saturday, 1 PM).
The JV squad played its best game of the season, limiting turnovers and executing their offense despite losing to the Lady Knights 21-10 in a two quarter matchup.
