BOYS TRIUMPH IN DOUBLE OVERTIME

The varsity boys beat a short handed Ansonia Tiger team 55-50 in double overtime Friday night. Trail battled through a tough shooting second half to get the win. After a strong defensive stand to force the 1st overtime, Kellen Laird sent the game to a 2nd OT with a clutch 3 pointer. Laird would go 6-6 from the foul line in the 2nd OT to finish with 16 points. Logan Smith scored 19 points and had 10 points in the 4th quarter and overtimes. Tayden Blevins pitched in 12 points. The boys travel to Yellow Springs on Saturday and hope to end the weekend on a high note.
