7TH GRADE LOSE LAST GAME OF THE SEASON

The 7th grade lady blazers played Newton at home for the final game of the season. Newton came out strong and had some quick buckets under the basket. We went into halftime trailing 19 to 6. Our girls came out after halftime with a lot more intensity and were able to hold Newton to only 5 made baskets the 2nd half. Unfortunately trail wasn't able to come back from the early lead, losing 31-16 at the end. Kinley Marker and Meah Pearson led the team in points with 4 each. Meah also had a really great defensive game with 5 steals and 5 rebounds. Harper Henderson also had 4 big offensive rebounds and 2 points. Madison Lawson, Ioma Alavez and Audrey Bane each contributed a basket to round out the blazers. The girls play Saturday at FM against FM for our first round of the tournaments.
