In a non-conference match-up against a 12-0 Talawanda team, the Lady Blazers came out strong in the first two quarters going into half time only down by 1 (12-13). However, in the 3rd quarter Talawanda went on a 18-4 run, majority of those points coming off turnovers.
Offensively despite being pressed most of the game, the Lady Blazers did a good job running through their offense and picking up some nice baskets. Bre led the team with 9, Taylor earned 6 hard fought points, and Sammy rounded out the scoring with a free-throw.
We will be back in conference action for our final two games of the season. Hoping to bounce back from this loss and go strong into the tournaments.
We play Sat (1/27) at MV and our final game will be Monday (1/29) at home.
