The 7th grade boys faced Talawanda on Thursday in a rematch of a preseason match-up. While the boys played much better than their first meeting with Talawanda, poor shooting and a defense that could not adjust to Talawanda's shooting cost the boys in the end. A four-point game late in the fourth ended up being a 26-33 defeat.
The Blazers were led in points and rebounds by Alton Sparks who had a good game, scoring 14 and nabbing 9 boards. Reggie Osborne III led in a assists with 4 to go with 7 points. Cooper White collected 6 boards. Xavier Remaklus collected a board and an assist. Easton Ruebush collected 1 board. Landon Thomas came alive a bit in the second half scoring 5 to go with 2 boards.
The Blazers are now 7-5 overall (4-3, WOAC).
