In a rematch of last years conference Final Four the 8th grade boys were solid against Dixie on their home court on Thursday, winning each quarter and controlling the pace of play.
Mason Cordle led the Blazers in points (10), rebounds (7), and assists (2). Josh Brubaker added 7 points on 3 assists and Talon Bousman added 6 points on 4 assists. Also scoring were Coltin Lipps with 2 points on 4 assists and Westin Lipps with 6 points on 4 assists. Wyatt Gebhart played well with 2 rebounds and 1 assist, and Carson Laubenstein was also active in the win.
The Blazers have a big conference game Monday night at home against Ansonia. The boys are now 7-4 overall (6-1, WOAC).
