The 7th grade boys fought hard against the Patriots Saturday morning. This was the first time the boys have seen a fullcourt diamond press and they struggled initially, falling behind 10-2 in the first quarter. But they brought the game back to a 3 point deficit in the third quarter after a 3-pointer by Reggie Osborne III made it 16-13.
The fourth quarter saw some key mistakes and a 4-point lead ballooned at the end for a final score of 41-23.
Alton Sparks led the Blazers in scoring with 13 points, Osborne had 8, and Thomas had 2.
The Blazers are not 6-3 (3-2, WOAC).
