The National Trail Lady Blazers dropped a WOAC matchup on the road against the Arcanum Trojans Thursday night 60-22. Trail managed to score against Arcanum’s full court press, but points were at a premium in the half court, with the Trojans forcing the Lady Blazers into several turnovers. Trail held their own in the first half defensively, but eventually ran out of gas in the second half as the Trojans continued building a lead that never shrank. Junior Josie Stiner led Trail’s scoring with seven, fellow Junior Hannah Henderson contributed five, and Sophomore Ollie Mason, four. Kendyl Johnson, Belle Anderson, and Lillian Cordle each scored two. Trail returns to WOAC action on their home court Saturday with a matchup versus Bradford. Varsity will compete after a two-quarter JV matchup that tips at 11 AM.
