8TH GRADE LADY BLAZERS TAKE A TOUGH LOSS TO ARCANUM

In a tough and very physical game against conference rival Arcanum the Lady Blazers fell short by only 3 points. The undefeated Trojans were put on their heels from the beginning of the game, by an outstanding defensive effort. Taylor Reynolds in a combined effort with Sammy and Eva were able to hold their post player to only 7 points. Bre and Kira caused chaos up top that made it hard for Arcanum to get off easy shots. As a team the Lady Blazers came away with 10 steals.
In the final minutes Arcanum was able to take a 22-19 lead, and the Lady Blazers just weren't able to come back. Bre ended the game with 8 points, followed by Eva with 6. Taylor and Sammy both added 2 points of their own, and Kira rounded out the scoring with hitting a foul shot.
We will host Tri-Village this Saturday for another conference match-up.
