8TH GRADE LADY BLAZERS IMPROVE TO 6-3 OVERALL

8th Grade Lady Blazers improve to 6-3 overall
The 8th Grade Lady Blazers picked up another conference win Saturday morning at home against Twin Valley South. The team started out the game with aggressive defense that led to an 8-0 lead in the first quarter, and the Lady Blazers never lost that lead with a final scored of 35-18.
We were able to get every player minutes this game and that turned into every one of them at least taking a shot at one point in the game. Bre again led the team with 17 points, a high for her this season. She was also able to pick up 4 assists, and 5 steals during the game. Taylor added 6 to the team's total with 2 assists and 3 steals. Sammy and Kira contributed 4 points each, with Eva and Audrey rounding out our scoring each picking up a bucket. The unselfish play on the offensive side of the ball and teamwork and trust on the defensive side has led to the continued success of this team.
We will travel to Arcanum Monday for a tough conference game, and then finish the week on Saturday back at home against Tri-Village.
The Lady Blazers are 4-1 in the conference and 6-3 overall.
