8TH GRADE CLOSES OUT THE YEAR WITH A WIN

In our second meeting with TCN the Lady Blazers got off to a very slow start. Down by 1 going into half time against a team they had previously beat 34-11 was a big wake up call for the ladies. They came back out in the 2nd half and took control of the game outscoring the Panthers 15-6.
Sammy and Bre led the team with 7 points apiece. Taylor and Kira each had four point and Eva rounded out our scoring with 2 points.
It was a good defensive effort by the whole team coming away with 10 steals. Audrey and Brooklynn had great defensive contributions helping to hold one of TCN strongest post players to only 6 points. As a team they battled back and again used the clock to their advantage to secure another win before the end of the year.
That moves the Lady Blazers to 4-3 for the season and 2-1 in the WOAC. They will be back in action on 1/2 at home for another conference game.
