The 7th grade boys were victorious in their first home game of the season, leading the Panthers from start to finish. The Blazers saw their first box-and-1 defense in the first quarter and Alton Sparks responded with 10 points right away. Landon Thomas led the team in assists with 6 to go along with 5 points and 2 rebounds. Sparks finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Cooper White tied Sparks for the team rebound lead with 11 to go with his 4 points and a heck of an assist in the second half.
Reggie Osborne III poured in 13 points to go with 2 rebounds and 3 assists. Easton Ruebush grabbed 5 boards on 2 assists and played solid back-line defense. Cain Bond scored 2 points and Baine Conway played solid in the fourth quarter.
The Blazers are now 5-0 (2-0, WOAC) on the season and will match-up against Preble Shawnee after the New Year.
