VARSITY BOYS BATTLE CARLISLE

National Trail battled Carlisle into the 4th quarter Saturday night, but came up short losing to the Indians, 59-47. Kellen Laird led the Blazers with 15 points and 7 assists. Tyler Lesh drilled three 3's on his way to a season high 13 points. Logan Smith pitched in with 12 points. The team returns home to the friendly confines of the NT gymnasium on Tuesday night to take on Mississinawa Valley. The team looks forward to their raucus student section and a Justin Turner sighting after some time away.
