A furious 6pt comeback in the final minute of the game capped off the Blazers win in Brookville Saturday. Trailing the whole game, the boys battled back from a rough start but found themselves on the ropes late in the fourth. 6 straight points by Reggie Osborne III followed by 7 straight from Landon Thomas was enough to bury the Blue Devils.
Alton Sparks battled through a rough shooting day but secured 13 rebounds to go with his 8 points. In a game when assists were hard to come by, Osborne tallied 6 including the final two drive-and-kicks to Thomas for consecutive 3's. Osborne finished with 13 points, 6 assists, and 2 rebounds.
But the clutch performance came from Landon Thomas who buried both threes and then hit the final free throw to put the Blazers up 1. Thomas finished with 8 points. Easton Ruebush and Alton Sparks defended the final shot, and when Osborne secured the rebound, the Blazers secured their 4th win in a row to start the season (4-0, 2-0 WOAC).
