8TH GRADE GIRLS IMPROVE TO 2-1 IN THE WOAC

8th Grade Girls improve to 2-1 in the WOAC
The 8th grade Lady Blazers secured their second conference win in a nail biter over Bradford. NT held the lead at the end of every quarter, but late in the 4th quarter Bradford rallied back to tie up the game at 17 points. The Lady Blazers took a 2-point lead with just over the minute left in the game and was able to hang on to the possession to get the win.
Bre Leal again led the team with 8 points. Eva worked hard in the post all game, despite battling foul trouble and added 4 points to the team total. Brooklyn Holsapple scored her first basket of the season, with Sammy adding 2 of her own. Taylor rounded out the 8th grade scoring hitting a foul shot. Kira had another great defensive game.
Five 7th graders stepped up and helped the 8th grade team to a victory. Led by Madison Lawson, who hit the shot to give the Lady Blazers the lead in the 4th quarter. Kinley, Kenady (picked up a clutch charge), Meah and Leigha all added great defensive and offensive efforts throughout the game.
Trail will be back in action Thursday 12/14 with hosting Eaton.
